Current Research Studies

Social Cognition & Interaction Training for Adolescents with High Functioning Autism (SCIT-A): Teens diagnosed with High Functioning Autism or Asperger's Syndrome, ages 17 - 21, may be eligible to participate in a 12 week study to improve social skills through a group-based social cognitive intervention.

fMRI Brain Imaging Studies: Our research studies use functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging to study brain activity in people with high functioning autism. We are currently recruiting for 2 different studies.

Family - Based Exposure Response Prevention (F-ERP): This 12 week study implements a family-based behavioral therapy for preschoolers ages 3 - 6 that have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and who exhibit high levels of repetitive behavior.
